Combine Derby

Last weekend we went to Lind, WA for one of the only (if not the only) combine demolition derby's in the whole US...and most likely the world. Lind is in the middle of nowhere but the derby sure brought out a crowd. There were a couple thousand people there! Along with the combines, there were grain truck and pick up truck races. One of the pick-ups hit a wall and sprayed a bunch of people! It was awesome! We'll let the pictures do the talking...just remember they don't do the derby justice.

Here's the welcome sign, it's classic.

They gave awards to the best decorated combines...some were pretty cool.

The honey bucket.

Getting ready for the demo' derby.

I think this might have been Willie Nelson!

The cutest couple there...at least what I saw.

Mike looking good.

Not sure if they were supposed to be there, but this is a great picture.

This guy was awsome. He was in the truck race, it was crazy...lots of crashes and dirt spit all over the audience!

Jen's favorite combine "Jaws"

The combines had so much power they would continue going even without back wheels!

No caption needed.

All in all it was an amazing time. Jen wants to live in Lind, WA now. :)

Now cut it OFF. Loved the pictures. You know that we had combine crashes without a contest.
