Valentine's Day...

in April. As you can probably see, blogging isn't too high on our priorities these days...in fact we haven't even done our taxes yet. So ya, we've had some other things going on. Anyways, it was Mike's turn to plan Valentine's this year. He did a great job...he was just a month behind (or ahead?) of schedule. He had been asking me the week of if I was interested in going to go see Carrie Underwood. I thought it would be a fun Valentine's day activity so I said yes. Well, the night before the big day, I was taking a look at the tickets and discovered that the concert was not until March 13th! I thought it was pretty funny. Mike had to scramble to find other plans but he came up with some pretty good ones.

We had Mexican food delivered from a lady in the Spanish Branch!
Notice how I still haven't picked my head up yet.
We also enjoyed some nice conversation at the table haha.
Mike's gourmet dessert. Brownie, peppermint ice cream, hot fudge sundae.
On Sunday morning I made some cookies for B. Meyer's b-day to celebrate in Young Women's.

March 13th, the real Valentine's day. Yes, I'm really that pale. Not to worry, Palm Springs is within reach.
Carrie had some amazing sets.
You might be able to guess why this one was my favorite...
She even rode around in a car! It was pretty sweet.
My favorite Carrie Underwood song. She is just as pretty in person as she is in magazines.

The opener was Craig Morgan who has a song that we love called "International Harvester" where he talks about being a combine driver. It make us think of Brian Rupp and Pullman! We recorded him singing it...only to find that one of us accidentally deleted it off the camera! Sad.

Tell me the other videos on your camera didn't get deleted because I know of some that may need to be their own blog post. And a Carrie Underwood concert is good anytime, even a month late.
