Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving we had plans to get together with friends but 2 days before Caroline had a really high fever!  She had the fever on Wednesday too so we just didn't think it was a good idea to go to our friends house.  Mike went out Wednesday night and bought a little turkey.  We didn't leave the house for days.  It was actually quite fun to be together just the four of us.  Rose ended up getting the fever on Friday.  The kids are still getting rid of their coughs and the snot is still a-flowing!

On Thanksgiving morning, instead of exercising, we decided to make these beauties.

 They were incredibly delicious.

 I also made these rolls from Our Best Bites.

 Mike was so excited to use our turkey carver for the first time (we got it for our wedding!)

 Yum!

 Sick babies.

 The next day we sent Mike to Home Depot to get the tree!

 Caroline cheered us all on while we decorated.
