We started out the morning of Mike's birthday with breakfast and about half way through eating, Mike said he wasn't feeling well and couldn't eat anymore. He went to work and still wasn't feeling great when his co-workers brought him Trophy Cupcakes. They are some of the most delicious cupcakes ever but Mike couldn't stomach them so he suggested that we come and eat some! The girls were happy to partake but a few minutes after showing up, I started to feel sick like Mike! We left and I made the drive back home, barely. I laid Caroline down for a nap and curled up in a ball on the couch and put the tv on for Rose. A few hours later, our home teacher came by with a treat and when I got up for the door, I realized how awful I really felt. I decided to make a move up stairs to my bed and within an hour after that I was throwing up. Luckily Mike was on his way home from work.
I took this picture of myself..for what reason, I do not know. I guess it captures the moment.
Mike came home from work and was throwing up within an hour or two after that. We miraculously got the girls to bed, but I don't even remember that, and we decided to go to bed at 8:30. Here's what our diet consisted of the next day, my birthday.
Mike stayed home from work and we kinda just laid around all day, without appetites. We attempted Panera for dinner. I got about half of mine down but it didn't feel great. At least we got to share with these cuties (who never got sick)!
We finally celebrated Friday night with a little date in downtown Kirkland.
