Jimmy's Pullman Visit!

Our friend Jimmy came up from California to visit us last week! It was such a fun weekend and a nice break for me before finals. When Jimmy looked up Pullman online before he got here he told us that he had a lot of respect for us because we live up in the middle of nowhere but when he got here he really liked it! I think the Pullman airport was a little shocking for him because it is so small! On Friday night we went to Sangria (a really good resturant in Moscow) with Jimmy and our friend Anne. There are some Peruvian items on the menu so Jimmy asked a waitress if the owner was Peruvian so he came over to our table to talk to us. It turns out that his mom owns Inca Grill and his aunt owns Inca Mama, both resturants in Orange County. Jimmy even knew the owner's cousin. The world is SO small! After dinner we went to buy some sleds at Big 5. The black sled is called the "mega boggan." Classic name. When we got home we enjoyed some fun sled rides down the hill outside of our house. On Saturday we had some friends over and played games and sipped hot chocolate. On Sunday we decided to put a roast in the crock pot and good thing we did because we came home to 4.5 hours of no power! The good news was that the roast was still warm. We had a fun dinner with Jimmy and our lantern! We had rented "Its a Wonderful Life" earlier in the week and figured that we could use the power that we had left on Mikes to watch some of it and the rest on my computer but when Mikes computer died we couldn't get the disk out so we just decided to go to bed haha. It was like 9pm! I don't think we've gone to bed that early all semester. We experienced some technical difficulties getting Jimmy home but he finally caught a flight out of Lewiston and made it home safely! Thanks for the fun week Jimmy!

James Wilson Hall. Jimmy is covering up the Wilson so it just looks like James Hall! We all thought it was pretty cool.

This is the Artisan barn in Uniontown about 15 miles outside of Pullman. This picture was taken at about 4pm, it get dark here really early!

The MEGA BOGGAN.
My first sled ride= classic pic. If Mike and I sent out Christmas cards, this would be the picture we would use.

Mike and Jimmy, I was a little late taking the pic.

Sunday dinner in the dark, good times.

After dinner we went for a walk because there wasn't really anything to do in the house! It was freezing outside!
Jimmy sent us this pic. This is what he stared at for 3 hours in the Lewiston airport. Sorry Jim!
