Boston and Memorial Day Weekend

I'm not quite sure why my last 4 posts say that they were posted on April 27th when I was still in WH then but anyways...we went to Boston with the Moore's on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. It was SO MUCH fun and we could not have asked for better weather. I think for my next Boston or NYC trip I'm going to lose the Jack Purcell's and wear some Asics for my poor feet!

When we first got there we went to Cambridge and walked around Harvard. It was cool and there were tons of people out. Two unique Cambridge Sights.

Joni and I were STARVING so we ordered some pizza and had a little lunch on the grass.

Look how stoked we look.

Pretty much my favorite picture of the trip haha.
When Paul, Joni, and I met Mike at the car, he was taking pictures of himself...

When we got into Boston, we walked part of the freedom trail.
I kinda love this picture. We were making fun of Lionel Richie's performance at the American Idol finale.

Mapping the course.

The State Building.
Paul, Joni, and I with some sweet direction giver people.

Some rad guy.

A cool thing we found in front of the Old State Building.

Chomp chomp.

Pictures of a cool Boston building.

Joni let me play with her camera!

Natalie made her the awesome camera strap.

Go Bruins!

After a long walk to get to Bunker Hill, which we never did make it too, Joni and I were feeling a bit tired and cranky haha. Well I guess it was just me that was cranky.

I love this picture!

Mike's favorite part of the trip was visiting Fenway Park. When he saw this sign he knew we were close.

Paul and Joni.

We weren't able to get any cheap seats but it was still awesome to be outside the stadium. The atmosphere is unlike anything we had ever seen before. It was soaked with tradition. The stadium was so much smaller than I imagined it to be, but just as cool. The green monster is just above Mike's shoulder. A homerun would have landed in the street we are standing on.

The end of our adventure.

Cheers!

Monday we celebrated Memorial Day with the West Hartford parade and a BBQ at the Shamos.

Paul and The Fullers.
Sara, Brooke, and Keith.
Joni and Janae.
Me and Joni. Joni knows how much I love to take pictures...its nothing against you Joni, I promise!
Bocce Masters.

Rick, Mike, Paul, and Keith.

Mike and I.
The Meyers and the Moores.

It was pretty much an awesome weekend and I am really looking forward to the summer here. On another exciting note, Mike sweet-talked our landlord into letting us out of our lease early! We will be moving into a new apartment towards the end of June, don't worry, we'll still be in West Hartford.
