This Day in History

10 years ago today, June 2, 1999, Mike entered the Missionary Training Center! I wish that I could have remembered that on my own but he reminded me last night. He served in the Guatemala Quetzaltenango Mission. Recently, they had a ground breaking for a temple there. We hope to make it out there for the dedication or shortly there after. As most of you know, I am not the romantic type but I just wanted to take a minute to thank Mike for being the person that he is! I love him and the example that he is to me. You're the best Mike!

On a far less significant note, I graduated from 8th grade on the same day in 2000. Think its weird that I remember that? I have an interesting memory- like I still remember the exact dates of when I got my braces on and off (think I was lying? Sept. 23, 1998-May 31, 2000). I couldn't make this post to lovey dovey so I had to throw in this picture for some humor.

I hear Guatemala is very beautiful that should be a fun trip. I had to wear braces too but only in Jr High.

My favorite picture is mike's cowboy getup!
Is that a piece of bleached hair I see on the right side of your hair? I hope so because I TOTALLY did that to back in the day.
I can't say I remember the exact dates of my train tracks going on/off, but I will never forget having them for 6 years. Those are some great pictures of you guys :)

AWESOME picture Jen!! I love it. Mike looks so young in those pictures (he still does mind you). I remember when I taught in the MTC the boys always looked so young.
