Salmon Days

This weekend we went to the Issaquah Salmon Days festival. Issaquah is home to the most visited Salmon Hatchery in WA. Its really cool and the salmon are huge! Its fun to watch them try to get up stream and we've gone to check them out a few times. It kinda reminds me of going to watch the bears in Pullman.
We were planning on some small town festival but it was soooo crowded. Of course we had our stroller so it was not all that fun trying to get through the people. We waited in line for hand dipped corn dogs for almost an hour! Good thing they were the best corn dogs ever.
Only in WA.

Little Miss slept the whole time.
Rose and I were planning taking a walk around downtown today but I saw on the news this morning that there is a family of black bears roaming around town. They have even been seen at the hatchery trying to get the salmon! Issaquah Middle School had to cancel its track meet yesterday because of them. Crazy ha.
