Tis the Season

Over the past month we did some fun Christmas activities.

A few days after Thanksgiving we went to the outdoor mall where Mike works for the Christmas tree lighting. It was a little windy and cold so we watched it from inside his building with some other "softies."

Adorable.
This is kind of a creepy weird picture but Santa was walking by us and grabbed Rose. We were glad we didn't have to wait in line for her to take a pic with him.
After the tree lighting we got some free warm egg nog and then went to Trophy cupcakes for dessert. They were wiped out of cupcakes except for lemon. Not my first choice but it was really good.

A few weeks ago we went to a fireworks show in downtown Seattle. We got there a little late and had to fight through mega crowds to get a spot. Check out this super mom skill.
We didn't know where the fireworks would be but this was our view...needless to say we will probably not be going back next year.

Afterwards we went to the original Starbucks for a salted carmel hot chocolate and carmel apple cider. I think this picture says "Yeah, we live in Seattle."

Our home Stake always put on the "Creche" the first weekend in December but I had never heard of it anywhere else. This year our Stake put on their first one! It was amazing. Especially for the first year. I'm not sure there was really anything they could improve on.
Rose and daddy watching our ward choir sing.
I'm not sure why but this little Japanese creche was my favorite one.
We got to be the living nativity! It was sweet.

This is unrelated but Rose is wearing a totally awesome bib.
We hope you all have a Merry Christmas.
