Our great friends, the Schelin's, were in Seattle for a wedding so we got to hang out with them for a day. Last time we saw them we were in this awesome place! Luckily the weather was nice when they came. We went to the salmon hatchery and the Ballard Locks.
The Bering Prowler. Some of you may know that my favorite TV show is Deadliest Catch, so I was pretty excited to see a Bering sea crab boat.
We also stopped at the Fremont Troll. Definitely a one time type of thing.
In the late afternoon we went to Lake Union to watch the sea planes land. Two of them landed while we were parking the car and four of them took off while we were hanging out...but none ever came back. It was nice to just sit on the grass and chat.
After trying to find parking and a pizza place to eat at for a long time, we finally stopped at Subway because it was getting late (although you may not be able to tell because it stays dark here until about 10pm)!
We love these guys! Next time its our turn to visit them ;) Also, Dusty is in the works of planning a "man trip" which I am excited for Mike to take!ps I am currently on my 2 week CT vacation!
