Here are a few summer activities that I never got around to posting. One sunny day we went to Alki beach in West Seattle.
Mike always wants photo shoots. It cracks me up. "Take a picture of me doing this."

Mike's group at work had an activity at the Woodland Park Zoo. It was really fun! Our favorite part was the bear exhibit. We visited it twice while we were there and the second time I saw a sign that said that the bears had come from WSU! Of course they did! That's probably why we loved them. Anyone who's been to Pullman has probably seen the bears (and loved them).
There was a time period of crying when we first got there because it was also supposed to be nap time.
Mommy got a little stressed out but daddy worked his magic into this...(never mind that she wasn't wearing one of those diaper cover things).

For our anniversary we decided to treat ourselves to a Weezer concert! Mike has always been a huge Weezer fan and since we got married, I've become one too! The concert consisted soley of The Blue Album and Pinkerton. They played them straight through, just like you were listening to the cds. It was rad. I painted my nails Weezer blue for the occasion.
We made an awesome friend. He was taking his girlfriend to Portland for the weekend after the concert to propose to her...but he forgot the ring!
Rivers was definitely more pumped about Pinkerton than the Blue album. He said nothing to the audience the entire time, it was really weird.

Jen, that is really really funny because we went BY Filleps (sp?) about 100 times. We found the place next door and loved it and at there three times (it was a Food Net feature too, of course). Crazy! Well shoot, I wish we had tried it!
Oh and by the way it is so you to paint your nails Weezer blue :) Pinkerton is one of my fav albums. Looks like fuuuuuun!

... Oh and p.s. Paul had a "Mike" moment today. We saw a couple from the ward walking near our house and we were saying Hi, and Paul says "Hey, you guys just takin' a walk on a Sunday?". Yes. Obviously.
But then we stared talking about "Hey, nice dogs"... Ahhh good times.
