Barnes Road Trip Part 5- ID

The last part of our trip was spent in the great state of Idaho.

This is a little out of order but on our way to Star Valley we made a quick stop to visit some family in Downey.  Here's us at the house where Mike's great grandparents lived.

Aunt Linda and Uncle LaVern.

We didn't have our exact Yellowstone days mapped out so we didn't book a hotel room and just figured we do it when we got there.  Turns out that the Yellowstone Inn had just closed for the season and the Yellowstone Hotel was booked.  We thought we'd just stay in one of the hotels outside of Yellowstone but they all looked a little creepy to me and both of the kids were asleep and it wasn't too late so we just kept driving.  We decided to drive all the way to Rexburg.  The temple was so beautiful!  We drove up to it to take some pictures.
We had our friends, the Christensens, take us around BYU-I and we ran in to these pretty ladies!  We were waiting outside the I Center for Katie and then we ran into Kayla!  They were 2 of my Young Women in Hartford.  So cool to see them.

I feel like this hat belonged on Caroline in WY.
Jess and Chad took us on a little (which turned out to be a long) walk around the Idaho Falls temple.

In IF, we made a stop relative of Mike's mom's jewelry shop.  She was really excited we stopped by!
We loved loved hanging out with our friends Chad and Jessica.  It was so funny to see how our lives have changed since having kids.  I mean, we're all still the same but we happen to have 4 extra little people to hang out with.  It makes things a tiny bit different ;)
Our last stop was in Boise to see the Hunts.  Chadwick, Mike, and Milo were all roomates at WSU the year before we got married.  Same goes with the Hunts, the last time we saw each other we didn't have kids.  Here's Rose and Morgan playing the piano.
So good to see you guys!

Oh man, it was a great trip!  The days were packed with lots of fun and the nights were filled with a baby who wanted to eat every 3 hours...the ENTIRE trip.  Needless to say we are happy to be home and back on a routine.  THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who shared their homes with us.  It really was a once in a lifetime type of trip!

Now you guys just need to trade in your mini-van for a new one with all the miles you put on it...you get any road trip stains or dents?
