Tonight we went to the Southington Fair. Southington is where my roomate Kara is from and during our freshman year her mom sent us apple fritters from this fair and I have been craving them ever since! Sometimes the line is up to an hour long to get the fritters but we didn't have to wait that long! Mike thought that they definitely lived up to the hype.
As most of you know (or should know) the Angels are playing the Red Sox in the first round of the playoffs and living in CT we are surrounded by Red Sox fans! Mike has been wearing his Angels gear proudly this week! He has even worn his jacket to work (hehe that's not something Mike would normally do. It's something I would do so I was super stoked when he did). He received plenty of interesting looks at the fair but only 2 comments. We were hoping to get people more rallied up!

A steak and cheese sandwich. Yes, its true. I heart food.
