Talcott Mountain- Heublein Tower

Last weekend we hiked up to the Heublein Tower which sits on top of Talcott Mountain.  It was built in 1914 as the Heublein family's summer home.  Must be nice...

The shirt Mike was wearing is the face of a Ducks Hockey player that is really only known if you know the team and right when we started walking up the Mountain this kid was like "Ya George Parros, Go DUCKS!"  As you would probably guess, I was stoked.  The guy was from Yorba Linda and going to school at University of Hartford.  Small world. The buildings in the center of this picture are Mike's work.  This valley is known as the Farmington valley.
An awesome tree pic.
Pretty leaves.

These pictures were taken by Mike on his way home from work.  The trees look amazing!
