Well we are still in the hospital but we have ruled a couple of things out which is good (I guess). He doesn't have meningitis or the herpes virus and with those results that hopefully means no more spinal taps (he had another one yesterday). He is going through IVs like its his job and it is the saddest thing ever! He went through 4 yesterday. His veins aren't super strong and he moves his arms a lot so they are really difficult for them to stay in. Since we have ruled out infection for the most part we are hoping to get off of the anti-biotics tomorrow which means no more IV! His seizure meds are still pretty over powering and he is not back to his normal self yet. He won't really eat either which is so sad because he is normally a champion eater. We are hoping to be able to go home by maybe Wednesday. I am unfortunately heading back to Hartford on Monday. I have almost fainted 3 times while they have been doing the IVs which is definitely a first because I am not normally that squeamish. Spending the past couple nights in the hospital has been quite an experience! I normally have my best sleep from 6-8am when things finally calm down. I'll try to keep everyone posted. We appreciate all of the prayers!

I'm so sorry to hear about your brother being in the hospital! I can only imagine how hard it must be. IV's are no fun, I hope he gets well soon and gets to go home. You are the BEST big sis ever.
Jen, I hope things have started getting better for your brother. I'm so sad to hear he has been sick. We'll keep him and you in our prayers. We hope you and Mike are doing well, otherwise. We miss you!
