NYC with the Udy's

As most of you know, our old Bishop from Pullman has a son who served in the Hartford Mission and went home a few months ago. It was great to see Elder Udy around the Stake Center or have him over for dinner while he was here. Last week, Bishop, Sister Udy, and "Lance" (I still can't call him that haha) came out to visit the area and we had the pleasure of joining them in New York City. Mike impressed us all with his memorization of the streets. Maybe next time we can pass for locals.

Friday night we took a night tour of the city and crossed over into Brooklyn.

The best pic we could get of the city from across the bridge. It was so awesome. Definitely my favorite part of the trip.
A police taxi! Our tour guide was super stoked when he spotted it. The whole bus watched the guy get his car searched when we were stopped at a light.
A rad clock but I'm not sure I could explain it without Mike...from the left its 22 hours something something something and from the right its 10pm something something something. I think it was easier for me to understand when it was moving.
Time Square.
A cool building.
The Temple.
A girl "modeling" in front of a church in Harlem. Mike really wanted to take her picture.
A sweet bridge in Harlem.
The Guggenheim.
A lady, pushing her dog in a stroller through Central Park (yes her dog). Notice how fat it is?Every time we saw little strollers we had to check and see if there were babies or dogs in there...and it was often dogs. Note: friends with dogs, please don't get any ideas.
Some ducks enjoying a floating cement block in Central Park.
Sailboats.
CP.
We love the Udy's!
I guess I was a little surprised that there were no strawberries in Strawberry Fields...
Thank you Brigham for telling us about the Shake Shack. It was delightful.
Staten Island Ferry.
Lady Libs.
The UN.
Wall Street.
NYSE.

It was so great to see the Udy's and hang out with them in CT. Thanks guys! We also had fun doing more touristy stuff in the City. From now on its museums...

How fun!! We need to come for a visit sometime before you move to SE Idaho with us!! I do want an explanation about that clock though. Was it almost 11 at night when you took the picture?
