So I might be the most un-spontaneous person that ever lived. I'm not sure that I was ever able to run off and do something totally spur of the moment...maybe in high school but I was a wild girl then. In an attempt to lighten me up on Friday night, Mike thought it would be fun to do something spontaneous (when all I wanted to do was stay home and play on the computer). I called my old roomie Kara who is now in Boston and told her that we would be there in 2 hours to go out to dinner! She found a great place that had burgers for me and seafood for Mike and even invited a special guest! Brendan Pratt was one of my best friends freshman year at Ithaca. Kara and Brendan have stayed close and now hang out on the BU campus, where they are both getting their Master's. I do have to say that the East is a great place for seeing old friends. Especially fabulous friends like Kara Oberg.
When it comes to blogging, I hate blogging out of order so this is me spontaneously blogging! I still need to blog the Chicago trip that I took with my fam last month and we definitely need to catch you all up on our near death (exaggerating) experience at Fenway. Until then...

Driving around in stupid Boston traffic almost put our marriage on the rocks a few times. The gps narrowly missed getting thrown out the window. The important thing is you both survived AND had some yummy food.

haha, i loved that story. i'm not spontaneous at all either! my idea of spontaneity is going out for ice cream or something after dinner. so i'm really impressed with your night! good job! :)
