Halloween

Since we missed out on carving pumpkins last year we made sure that we were on schedule this year.

Mike's is on the left, mine's on the right. So we stay up until 12am on a work night carving pumpkins, put them outside all lit up and wake up to my pumpkin destroyed by a squirrel. You know that I have a history with the squirrels! I was soooo mad! We had to bring our pumpkins inside until Halloween and then Mike put mine back together with some toothpicks.
We LOVE dressing up for Halloween. This year we were Uncle Sam and Lady Liberty! It was super fun. I am always embarrassed to be the only dressed up at the ward party but there were a few adults dressed up as well.
Mike made my torch and crown and we had this sheet laying around. Pretty awesome.
Mike has way too much fun dressing up like old men (as you can tell from last year's costume).
"Lend me your tired, your hungry, your poor..."
"I want YOU!"

This stuff was literally called facial fur. Haha.
I had to work on Halloween day so I dressed up as festive as I could.
And then I decorated Janae's birthday cake! Yes, that is frosting on my forehead.
This time I had little crystals instead of the chocolate sprinkles like the last cake.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JANAE!

This is a video of a game that we played with the Shamo's. I am not sure that I will ever play it again but it was fun while it lasted!

We didn't get to go on any Halloween adventures like last year but it was still a great time. I love Halloween!

Jen I knew what this game was just by the sound!! My uncle brought it to a family reunion a few years ago. That totally stinks that you got shocked! Perfect game for Halloween. Nice costumes too! Makes me miss you guys even more!!
