Road Trip Part 3- Utah

After our time at home, we headed to Utah for a few days.  We drove all the way from socal to St. George without stopping.  I was quite impressed with that!  We stopped in Cedar City to see some family and then headed to Highland to stay with the Edwards.  We had a blast hanging out at their house and their kids are totally awesome.

One day when Ellie played hookie from school and we went to the petting zoo at Thanksgiving Point.
 Caroline enjoying the sun ;)
 Oh hi, baby goat!

One of the days we headed back to the town of our courtship (I said it).  We hadn't been to Provo for probably 5 years so it was great to be back.  First we hit up the Wilk and spent about an hour in the book store.  I scored a pretty sweet jacket and the girls each got new stuffed animals.  Rad.
Mike with what used to be DT...now called "New Heritage" or something like that.

Mike at his old stomping grounds, the econ building.  We stopped and chatted with our friend Scott, of this post (and married to this famous lady).
"Best library in the country." -Steve Physioc throwback.
 Cousin Wesley.
 Caroline saluting.
 Rose making friends.

After the looonnnng day we spent on campus, we met up with our friend Andrew!
 My old house!
 The Provo Tabernacle Temple.
Rose's favorite thing of life is the trampoline.  We pretty much had to lock her inside the Edwards when we didn't want to go outside and jump with her.

Then we saw Anne from WSU!  It was great to catch up with her.
Later on in the week, we headed to Temple Square.

 Best thing ever.

Cinnamon roll the size of my head.  Awesome.  I'm pretty sure I ate the best sandwich of my life in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.
Doing a little Latin dancing at the Church History Museum.
Our whole time on Temple Square we were looking for our cousin Elise and Mike's mission President's daughter Lucy.  We looked for hours!!  On our way out we finally found Lucy!  It was great to finally meet her.  We were bummed that we never found Elise though.
One of the big reason's we took this trip was to see Mike's grandma.  It was so much fun hanging out at her house and watching the girls play.
Rose LOVED playing peek a boo with Grandma.  She's still talking about it.
 Fun in Grandma's backyard.
"Tell me about it, sis."
"Okay, but its a secret though."
 "I LOVE YOU!"
Here are some pics we took at Mike's Aunt Teresa's house where we stayed for a few nights.

This picture was taken after Uncle Duke literally tickled Mike and Grandma.  It was very funny!

iPad pics- Doughnuts at the Wilk.
 New stuffed animals!
Peek a boo with Great Grandma.
 Family History Center.

We wish we would have allotted for more time in Utah because we love it there and we don't go that often.  Next stop Wyoming!
